[China Glass Net] 1. Improve the strength of the glass and enhance the safety of the glass.
In recent years, in order to change the phenomenon that the fragmentation of tempered glass is too small, a new type of product called heat-enhanced glass (semi-tempered glass) has been developed. Because the product is not easy to blew, it is more suitable for large-scale glass curtain wall.
Laminated glass: It is a kind of safety glass made of two or more pieces of glass bonded together with synthetic resin. The debris does not scatter when it breaks. Laminated glass is produced in both dry and wet forms, but dry production is the mainstream. China's laminated glass products were developed by the Building Materials Research Institute earlier.
There are many types of laminated glass, but mainly PVB film laminated glass, fireproof glass with solid phase hydrated sodium silicate swelling layer as fireproof intermediate layer, and vacuum one-step laminated glass with EN film as intermediate layer. Vacuum one-step laminated glass not only produces ordinary safety glass, but also produces decorative laminated glass with ornaments. The near-light-changing color decorative laminated glass has also been available.
Foil glass: Foil glass is a multi-layer polyester film on the surface of flat glass to improve the performance and strength of the glass, so that it has the functions of heat preservation, heat insulation, explosion-proof, UV protection, beautification appearance and safety. Currently mainly used in automotive and building doors and windows, partition ceilings and so on. The film glass can produce different effects depending on the film. For example, different colors, photochromism, conduction, heating, and the like.
2. Change the geometry of the flat glass.
It is well known that flat glass is generally smooth and smooth, but in use, people often need some glass with a curved or curved surface. This requires changing the geometry of the flat glass. At present, the main products are arc curved glass, glass fruit plate, glass pot cover, etc., but their molding mechanism is roughly the same.
Arc curved glass: also known as hot bending glass, curved glass, belongs to the glass when the temperature is raised to near softening temperature, according to the requirements of use, by bending and deformation. According to the degree of bending, it is divided into shallow bend and deep bend. Shallow bending is mostly used in building decoration, automobile, ship windshield, glass furniture decoration series (such as TV cabinet, wine cabinet, coffee table), etc.; and deep bending can be widely used in horizontal freezer, display counter, sightseeing elevator corridor, glass Ceiling, ornamental aquarium, etc. If the tempering process is performed at the same time as the hot bending, it is a hot-bend tempered glass, and the glass lid belongs to this category. In order to ensure the safety of some curved glass curtain walls, hot-bend tempered glass is often used.
3. Glass surface treatment.
Glass surface treatment includes two aspects: on the one hand, enriching the glass surface, that is, using physical or chemical methods to make different patterns and patterns on the glass surface; on the other hand, coating the glass surface.
Polished glass: Before the float glass is produced, some of the glass needs to be polished to achieve the goal of completely parallelizing the two surfaces. Polishing glass is to polish the two surfaces of ordinary flat glass or calendered glass with abrasives such as silicon carbide and silica sand, and then polish them with red powder, tin oxide and felt.
In 1958, China's self-designed and manufactured reciprocating sander was built at Shanghai Yaohua Glass Factory to meet the requirements of tempered and laminated glass for the smoothness of glass surface. In 1970, Luoyang Glass Factory introduced a single-side continuous polishing unit from Germany with its rolling production line.
The birth of float glass replaced the polished glass.
Stained Glass: Stained Glass, also known as Painting Glass, is a light-transmitting material that provides color art for doors and windows. It is usually made by baking a special glaze on a glass and then baking it on a glass. The method of making it is a bit like ceramic.
Sandblasted glass and etched glass: The high-pressure air of 4-7kg/cm2 is used to spray particles such as silicon carbide onto the surface of the glass to create sand marks on the surface of the glass. It can etch out lines, characters and various patterns without processing. The parts are covered with a protective film such as rubber or paper. If the immersion acid is sintered on the basis of sandblasted glass (all sand blasting), a matte etched glass, also called ice glass, is obtained.
